<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nIt is amazing, when you google Fall quotes\/sayings, you get a myriad of lists. For example: One saying above is: I\u2019m a fall kinda girl. I am. Fall is my favorite time of year. Everything about it just speaks to me. You have the cooler weather which is a great welcome after a much-too-hot summer. Then you have a huge palette of color in the changing of the leaves. As I look out my window, I marvel at the constant changing of the leaves and bushes from luscious greens to vibrant tones of yellows, oranges, reds, purples and browns, especially in the sunlight, which we have much of here. Along with the changing of the leaves, comes the falling of the leaves. Colorful leaves are everywhere. I used to collect many fall leaves and flatten them, eventually using them in craft projects. Living in an RV, we don\u2019t have much room for that sort of thing, but I enjoy them all the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pumpkins and squash add spice to Fall. I\u2019m not into Halloween, but I love pumpkins. A pumpkin patch is a fascinating place because of the variety of shapes, sizes and color. Pumpkins are fun for decorations, but also make wonderful soup, chili, pasta, fries, risotto, butter, sauce, bread, donuts, pies, biscuits and muffins, cakes and cupcakes, crepes and pancakes, gelato and more. The imagination can go wild with hot dishes and desserts made from pumpkin. And let\u2019s not forget the drinks\u2026 milkshakes and types of coffee all with pumpkin spice. A taste of heaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fall brings on lots of changes all around us but in the midst of all this, there is one thing that remains constant. Hebrews 13:8 says, \u201cJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> The truth that Jesus remains the same means He is solid, trustworthy, reliable, He endures, He continues, He prevails, He stands firm. The list can go on and on. This is so important to grasp in a world where politics, morals, trends, what is \u201ctruth\u201d, and what is being taught today\u2019s children, are changing fast like the leaves of Fall. It can be scary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you shouldn\u2019t be. John 16:33 tells us, \u201cThese things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> So, not only does He remain constant and reliable, He is the overcomer. That may seem hard to believe with all that is going on. That\u2019s where faith comes in. We don\u2019t understand much of what God is doing but our lack of understanding doesn\u2019t change the fact of who He is: The Almighty God. Creator of the Universe. The One who holds the stars and planets in place. The Lover of my soul. Furthermore, in the midst of all the craziness, He promises peace. Not peace in the world, but peace in our hearts. The key: In Him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Are you experiencing His peace in these times of difficulty and fear? If not, you need to ask yourself, \u201cwhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is song written by Bob Benson and Phil Johnson back in the 70\u2019s which says: It\u2019s time for change. Be the change you wish to see in the world.
